Festival of Archaeology

Celebrate the Festival of Archaeology with us! The Royal Cornwall Museum will host Neil Burridge of Bronze Age Craft who will be casting bronze swords and axes. There will also be hands-on activities for visitors to make their own Bronze Age jewellery and cast their own Bronze Age flat axes, as well as handle replicas in the Treasure Plus Hands On History Hub. There will also be new Treasure on display, such as a hoard of Iron Age gold coins, as well as new finds recorded through the Portable Antiquities Scheme, such as a complete Early Bronze Age flat axe.
