With a different theme each time these hands – on, imaginative sessions are designed to inspire our youngest visitors and their carers. Learn about the Museum’s treasures through handling objects, art and craft activities, stories, songs and rhymes.

Suitable for 2-4 year olds and their carers.
Cost £3. Pre – booking is essential.

Ingenious Contraptions Launch

Saturday 11th July 2.30pm - 4.30pm

Join us for an afternoon of inventive and creative fun for all the family with the opening of this ingenious exhibition. Become an inventor and make a crazy contraption.

Summer Fun

'Make and Take' Tuesdays and Thursdays

Every Tuesday and Thursday from Tuesday 28th July - Thursday 27th August 10am - 4pm

Come to our 'make and take' space. Drop in at anytime on Tuesdays and Thursdays for free fun activities for all the family.

Messy Mini Makes

Pop in for an hour and get creative.

10.30 - 11.30am, 12.30 - 1.30pm and 2.30 - 3.30pm
Cost £2 per child accompanying adult free, booking advisable.

Fossil Fakes

Clay Creatures

 Back by popular demand! Inspired by our British wildlife in the Bonython Gallery make a woodland animal out of clay.
