Please note that the museum will be closed as detailed below:

Mummy on the move!
The Egyptian gallery will be closed from the 28 April. The Mummy will reappear when the new Ancient Civilisations gallery opens on the 8 June

Saturday 24 November
The Museum and Library will be closed for the RIC Members Only day.

Learning Outside the Classroom

We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge. Awarded by the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom, the Quality Badge combines for the first time learning and safety into one easily recognisable badge for all organisations providing Learning Outside the Classroom experiences.

Teacher Network

We are in the process of developing and improving our resources for schools and are planning to create a teachers network to aid our service improvements.
