Mummy on the move!
The Egyptian gallery will be closed from the 28 April. The Mummy will reappear when the new Ancient Civilisations gallery opens on the 8 June

The Mummification of Ast Tayef Nakht

Visit the Egyptian gallery and discover the processes of mummification in this fascinating workshop. Dig up clues to help identify real Egyptian artefacts and take part in a re-enactment of the story of the Judgement of the Dead.

Artefacts Loans Box

This box contains a variety of Egyptian artefacts including amulets, ushabti, a pot and writing materials.
All boxes come with a selection of resources and information to support their use in the classroom.
