Mummy on the move!
The Egyptian gallery will be closed from the 28 April. The Mummy will reappear when the new Ancient Civilisations gallery opens on the 8 June

Mrs Trevithick’s Tale
KS1 Famous People, Sense of Place, KS2 History
Meet Mrs Trevithick and find out about the life story of her inventor husband. Within a dramatic presentation pupils handle and discuss artefacts, photographs and working models. Finally pupils make a clay tile showing the famous Pen Y Darren - the first steam railway engine in the world.
Artefact Loans Box

This box contains
a selection of artefacts from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This popular box contains objects such as a copper kettle and a silver tea pot.
All boxes come with a selection of resources and information to support their use in the classroom.
