Mummy on the move!
The Egyptian gallery will be closed from the 28 April. The Mummy will reappear when the new Ancient Civilisations gallery opens on the 8 June

Rationing Christmas (Seasonal workshop)
KS2 History
Discover how Christmas was celebrated in 1940 in this stimulating workshop. Meet members of the Pengelly family, handle real artefacts and take part in a Christmas party. The workshop is a fun and original way for pupils to develop a real understanding of what life was like in this period.
Artefacts Loans Box
World War II
This box contains examples of artefacts that would have been used during World War II, including ration books and a warden’s helmet.
All boxes come with a selection of resources and information to support their use in the classroom.
