First World War
Workshop
What can we discover about life in the trenches?
How did attitudes on the Home Front change between 1914 and 1918? This session gives pupils an opportunity to explore the First World War from a selection of primary resources. Two activities are carried out alongside each other. One group investigates the objects as evidence whilst the other looks at 'West Briton' articles from 1914 and 1918 to discover the changes in attitudes during the war years.
