Please note that the museum will be closed as detailed below:

Mummy on the move!
The Egyptian gallery will be closed from the 28 April. The Mummy will reappear when the new Ancient Civilisations gallery opens on the 8 June

Saturday 24 November
The Museum and Library will be closed for the RIC Members Only day.

Key Stage 1 and 2

RCM offers a wide range of award winning workshops and artefact loans boxes designed to support a variety of National Curriculum topic areas. The workshops take place within the museum and provide the opportunity to handle and investigate objects from a variety of historical periods. To see a full list of resources click here.

Key Stage 3 and 4

Provision at KS3 and 4 includes both workshops within the museum and sessions in school. New cross-curricular sessions are based on the handling and investigation of original artefacts and archive material.

Entry to the museum is free. There is a charge for booked workshops and loans boxes.
