If you’re visiting this May Half Term then;

Why not try making your own insect home – or ‘hotel’ – out of junk, to give bugs somewhere to live? They’ll help control pests and pollinate your plants in your garden in return.

There are no rules to making these bug hotels so you can be as creative as you want. And if you prefer to make your own pretend insects instead of a home for real ones – you can. Bug Hotel Sessions run on Monday 29th May & Wednesday 31st May. 10.30am to 1.00pm and are FREE.

Or if you fancy becoming a writer when you grow up then come and take part in our Young Writer’s Sessions run by Felicity Tattersall who will help inspire you with her stories about Cornish explorer Richard Lander and his travelling medicine chest that kept him healthy on his expeditions around Africa in the 1800s. Young Writer & Story Telling Sessions run on Tuesday 30th May for over 5s & Thursday 1st June for over 7s. 10.30am to 12.30pm and cost £4.50.
