Introduction to Cyanotype Printing

Learn the basics of Cyanotype printing process with botanical shapes from the local landscape. Cyanotype printing is an early form of photographic printing which uses sunlight to produce a cyan – blue form of print. Engineers and architects used this printing process well into the 20th century, but during this workshop at RCM we will be creating postcard prints!

Participants will take away at least three postcard cyanotypes as well as the skills and knowledge to continue their own printing.

This event will take place in the Royal Cornwall Museum Courtyard and participants will be entitled to free access to the museum after the workshop.
