“An organisation that is part museum, part art gallery, part archive, and part research and learning centre – opens the door to exclusive previews, fascinating histories, and a community of people united by their passion for Cornwall. It means that I can contribute to a unique place that has been part of my life since I was child. It’s the best money I spend each year!”

Sam Drake, member and author of Cornwall, Connectivity and Identity in the Fourteenth Century

“The journal is an intrinsic part of the RIC, its history (in one form or another) is almost as long as the organisation itself. It began as a  Proceedings publication, following the format of many of its contemporaries with a focus on the sciences and engineering. It contained regular articles on meteorology, mineralogy, botany and language, with antiquarian contributions that evolved into archaeology. As the world changed, the journal began to reflect new interests, maintaining its place as a publication for Cornish history and science. As a source of invaluable research and information on the region, its full range of articles are still sought after by researchers today.”
