Memory Boxes

Behind every person and every object is a story.

Through Royal Cornwall Museum’s themed Memory Boxes, we give people the opportunity to revisit those stories. The boxes are filled with authentic objects from our collections that can help trigger personal memories and conversations. Using these boxes supports social and creative activities that can improve the quality of lives. These also help to build closer relationships between older people and their carers.

• Each box is available to hire for up to three weeks at a time
• Themed boxes include items from our collections and resources to support the user
• Box hire costs £25 a week, charged from Saturday to Saturday.
